 IRON MAN:
WATCH IT, LOVE IT, WATCH IT AGAIN!!!
After sitting through the full-length trailers of the
new HULK, BATMAN, & INDIANA JONES movies,
along with the sundrenched, ABBA-infused musical MAMMA MIA!
(Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Clive Owen),
the crowd at Waltermart Pasong Tamo
(our not-so-secret-anymore best theater in Makati)
was primed and ready for the summer's first blockbuster.
Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jeff Bridges,
all Oscar-nominated actors, did not disappoint.

you're a swingin' director. Impressive!!!
From the very 1st scene
that was reminiscent of (back in)Blackhawk Down,
to the Transformers-worthy heavy metal special effects,
the funny yet intelligent script (lots of..... what else....irony!),
to the revelation in the final line of dialogue,
everything about the film left us frothing in the mouth in anticipation
of the inevitable IRON MAN sequel
(hopefully in two years... or less!).
Guaranteed....
geeky fanboys will be ecstatic,
action fans will be quite satisfied,
and
even if you've never read a single Iron Man comic,
you will love this movie;
it's the exact opposite of stoooopid superhero flicks
like the Fantastic Four.
So when are we going to have that
IRON MAN and SPIDER-MAN
movie team-up, Stan Lee?
