JUMP THE SHARK:

It's a defining moment when you know that your
favorite television program has reached its peak.
That instant when you know from now on, it's all downhill.

The phrase derives from a scene in the three-part 'Hollywood' episode
of the American TV series Happy Days, broadcast in September 1977.
The scene has 'The Fonz' (Henry Winkler), water skiing -
unaccountably still wearing his trademark leather jacket -

and jumping over a shark.

Paula babbled like a confused New Age Cardiologist:
"I saw your soul..."
"I felt your heart...",

Simon blatantly lied about Archuleta
"crushing the competition",

and this was the night I totally lost respect for Randy Jackson....

if it sounds like a pimp,
acts like a pimp, looks exactly like a pimp,
nakanampochah,

Randy must be a pimp...
David Archuleta's Pimp!!!

Come on!!!
This was supposed to be "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" Night!!

Heartbreak Hotel is a rock classic.
Blue Suede Shoes is seminal rock & roll.

Love Me Tender is an Elvis classic,
but it is definitely, completely, absolutely NOT Rock!!!

And a sappy, corny version was Archuleta's song choice?

Please stop pimping and forcing Disney Boy down our throats;
THAT may just be the reason for
the apparent mental and musical breakdown of Jason Castro
who looks and sounds like he just doesn't care anymore,
and can't wait to get out of the show.

Archuleta's infinite cheesiness has almost ruined the show for me,
and judging by the sinking ratings this year,
this incessant fake praise of a mediocre teenstar wannabe
is ruining it for millions more.

SHEESSHHHHHHH.

David Cook is my favorite show's only chance for salvation!!!

(his weak Hungry Like The Wolf notwithstanding;
sorry, but Le Bon is untouchable!!!)

I had wanted David Cook to take on "Hungry Like A Wolf" and I literally gave a big Whoop! when he actually did! However, in the end you are right, no one else can do it like Simon LeBon!

"Love Me Tender" is part of the list given to the Top 4 to choose from that I posted here: http://3xhcch.multiply.com/links/item/10/. There are a lot of ballads in the list, like "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "In the Still of the Night", "Your Song", and what may be the cheesiest song there "Just The Way You Are."

David Archuleta, Disney Boy..hahhahah! That was a good one, Spanx. I totally agree with you with everything. I missed Jason's performance last night and I couldn't wait to see him perform, and he messed up royally. But, I can't blame him for wanting to get the heck out of AI..

And the sugar they put on Kool-Aid....hahahah!

Soo glad Jason is gone! He seemed relieved that he's out. His agony has ended. Now he can go and Kumbaya on the beaches with his buddies once again...I sure will miss him.

Talking about weed, it was so funny that "Vote for the Worst" website was called "Vote for the Stoned" when they were promoting Jason Castro. LOL! Well, I wonder who they will root for this time? Archuleta?

The over-pimping is so annoying already. The hyperbolic superlatives by the judges were so overflowing that it is gag-inducing already last night.

just watched the super-disjointed results show...

seacrest just kept on throwing so much filler at us to have an hour-long show.
WTF is happening to the A.I. producers?

i long for the simplicity of the Fantasia win during S.3....

btw,
the new maroon 5 single is just one looooong whine.

Yeah, I don't know why they had to prolong the inevitable last night. Bo Bice sounded very good with "Witness". I hope his career gets revived, but admittedly this type of rock is not what is in nowadays. It is the David Cook type of rock.

I like the Maroon 5 song. That is the same song they opened their concert with last March when they were here. I just kinda accepted that squeaky high pitched voice as what sets this Adam apart, especially after you hear him live. It was especially squeaky last night throughout his song.
