The beginning of the ‘Eldissa’ story is pretty simple; the Brazilian Guitarist Ecio Parreira and BlueFish's Producer Rio worked together on an acoustic Bossa Nova album for the Brazilian singer Diana Miranda. During the Recording of this album; Ecio and Rio discovered that they were able to re-arrange in a Bossa Nova style different types of music.

Rio began to work on the Eldissa project with the idea of merging his favourite styles of music, disco and soul into Bossa with a touch of Lounge music.
