this blew me out of the water.
definitely my favorite in this Sunday's DVD marathon,
perhaps of 2006,
perhaps ever.
if you loved Moulin Rouge,
you will fall in love with this movie.
if you hated Moulin Rouge,
yet loved Jesus Christ Superstar,
you will love this movie too.
Both Rent and JCS are "rock operas".
Both Rent and ML are based on the classic opera "La Boheme",
about artists living meaningfully,
passionately pursuing their dreams,
and dying young.
Come to think of it,
that sort of applies to Jesus Christ Superstar too.
watch this at full volume and pump up your 5.1 speakers.
Gaddem, this was so fookin' great!!!
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes of applause!!!
